# **Community Guidelines**

Welcome to MeaningfulWork!

These guidelines are in place to ensure that all users on the MeaningfulWork platform are able to enjoy an optimal impact experience. Please adhere to the guidelines set out and reach out to [support@meaningfultech.ca](mailto:support@meaningfultech.ca) if you have any questions or concerns.

### **Nonprofit Organizations**

By signing up to our platform, you agree to the following:

- To not disclose confidential volunteer and company information unless specified by the company representative or volunteer. This may include: 
    - Financial information
    - Future projects
    - Operations
    - Employee or customer identification, contact information or personal details
    - Trade secrets
    - Or any other information that may harm the company or volunteers reputation and business
- To be transparent about the scope and time commitments of created opportunities.
- To follow through and support the volunteer process from on-boarding to creating a final impact story reflection.
- To be aware that it may take time for volunteers to apply for your posting.
- To adhere to our opportunity posting guidelines. See our posting guidelines below for more details.
- To not discriminate against any users on the MeaningfulWork platform based on their race, religion, gender, sexuality, ability or age.

 

### Skilled Volunteers

By signing up to our platform, you agree to the following:

- To not disclose confidential nonprofit information unless specified by the nonprofit’s representative. This may include:
- To give unbiased advice and support organizations to the best of your ability.
- To allow MeaningfulWork to share your contact information with your matched nonprofit.
- To notify the nonprofit representative if you are unable to complete an opportunity.
- To be aware that applying for a posting does not always lead to you being chosen for that opportunity. Nonprofits have the ability to decline your application as they see fit.
- To not discriminate against any users on the MeaningfulWork platform based on their race, religion, gender, sexuality, ability or age.

### **Companies and Partners**

By signing up to our platform, you agree to the following:

- To not disclose confidential nonprofit information unless specified by the nonprofit’s representative. This may include:

- To not misrepresent the impact data generated by MeaningfulWork for public relation purposes.
- To not discriminate against any users on the MeaningfulWork platform based on their race, religion, gender, sexuality, ability or age.
